Multicast transmission over IP platforms

Netsystem developed a platform which transfers via satellite data packets encapsulated into DVB/MPEG-2 frames. The platform is defined as Multicast File Transfer System (MFTS) and utilises datagram UDP with IP multicast addressing for the transferring of files via satellite. It enables to offer content delivery service to users' groups with no need of telephone wire-line or other terrestrial connection.

Encrypting system in satellite and/or DTT environment

Netsystem developed and patented at European level the Hybridcast® platform which transmits encrypted premium video contents with no need of additional hardware, like the Smart Card. The video contents are made accessible through the way-back channel of the MHP decoder or via SMS and/or IVR. Netsystem's offer includes the creation and the management of the Service Center for the way-back channel.

Netsystem is active in the broadcasting field since year 2000 and capitalised a in-depth knowledge of this industry production processes. In 2004 it started making testings on the DTT with MHP standard. As of today, Netsystem is among the most experienced European companies in this specific field.

Digital TV & Business TV

Netsystem offers turn-key solutions for the management of corporate Business TV via satellite, via DTT, via cable or via Web. The entire package is based on Microsoft Media Server technology. The Netsystem’s platform allows to creating and delivering digital video streams enriched with connections and links to additional contents. Connections (links and hot-spot) are synchronized and visualised by the player with the timing and in the fashion decided by the author.
